The request

POST/v1/sign/video

The body is the .sgn you got from /v1/sign, sent as it is with Content-Type: application/octet-stream. The look of the avatar goes in the query string. The answer is the video, video/mp4.

The avatar's look

Every parameter is optional. Colours are hex without the #; any colour works, these are the ones our apps offer.

The video

Format	MP4 (H.264), 720 × 960 portrait, no sound
Frame rate	The signs' own, usually 25 frames per second
Length	The signing at its natural pace, then a one-second hold on the last sign; at most about 80 seconds per video
Watermark	The Signa mark in a corner, unless your plan includes clean videos
Time to make	A few seconds for a sentence

Over your own picture

To put the signer over a programme or a live picture, use an overlay: it draws the signer on a see-through background, live, in your studio's graphics system.

Billing

Each video counts against your monthly video limit. The signs were already counted when you signed the text, so a video costs no characters. A video that fails is not counted. For longer texts, make one video per sentence or caption.
